We all like to pay as low as possible for hosting our websites and blogs. At the same time, we want quality service. Nobody wants to see their site down constantly no matter how cheap their web hosting plan is.
There are no shortages of cheap shared hosting plans out there offered by many different providers. But finding one that is affordable and reliable is hard. It takes some research and testing.
Most of us don’t have the time or resources to buy a whole bunch of hosting accounts from different companies for the sake of testing and finding the best one.
But fortunately, I have been in a unique situation where I had and still do have access to just that kind of data.
Since I run lots of different sites, naturally I work with lots of different web hosts. That has given me a unique opportunity to compare all the major companies side by side. Which is why I started HostDispatch in the first place.
I have been getting some emails from some of the readers asking for my recommendation for the “best cheap shared hosting”.
So I started digging deep into my experience of the last few years of dealing with many different companies and have chosen one as the top affordable yet reliable web host of all time.
Who Has the Best Cheap Yet Reliable Shared Hosting Plan?
As mentioned, I have used so many different host for the few dozens or so website I run. Out of all the web hosting companies that I have used and reviewed personally, if I had to pick one as the best one…
I would without a doubt go with SiteGround.
SiteGround has been an outstanding host for my sites.
I am not gonna sugar coat things here, you can read my full review of the company for both pros and cons of using it to host your sites, but in all honestly, if you just have a few (5-6 sites), you can not find a better and more responsive host than these guys.
How Much is it?
I don’t think you can find any better deal anywhere.
Every hosting plans come with the usual free and fast WP installation, email accounts, etc.
They have 3 main plans, but for most people I think the first two plans are sufficient enough.
-
StartUp Plan: $3.95 (Comes with a Free Domain)
This is great for beginners who want to build 1 site, or those who want to test the quality. You get a free domain and 10 GB of space.
Usually the price is $9.95, but they have a 60% off special which makes it $3.95. But y
-
GrowBig: $7.95 (Comes with a Free Domain)
This plan is great for people who have a few sites (4-5). It gives you 20GB Web Space and also comes with a free domain.
Usually the price is $14.95 but they have a 50% off special which makes it $7.95.
My Advice
Again, if you only have a few sites, go with them. If you are not sure, do this: Sign up for their StartUp plan and test them out with one website.
The StartUp plan usually goes for $9.95 a month. But they are running a 60% promotion which brings it down to $3.95.
Now, $3.95/mo is already one of the cheapest hosting plans you can get anywhere.
So, you end up paying less than $4 for their StartUp plan!
You will not find a cheaper deal along with the kind of quality they offer, anywhere else.
But here is the best part, you also get a free domain!
Where else you’re gonna find a deal like this?..
The Most Important Part
For me the most important and satisfying part if this deal is knowing that even though I am getting a great deal, I still get to host my site with the best (at least in my opinion) hosting company in the world.
- No “Unlimited Space” BS
And if you notice, you see that they don’t promise you “unlimited” space like the other companies do, but as soon as you start to get some traffic, they shut your site down because of “using too much resources”.
See, that’s another reason I like these guys. They don’t BS you with empty promises. They tell you exactly how much space you get (by the way, for most blogs 10 GB is more than enough).
Bottom Line
It’s a great deal for a hosting company that has proven to be a reliable host that will hep you have a faster and more secure site.
You will get a free domain and you can host it for $3.95 a month.
